Cloud Network Architect, ePlus
Connectivity Designs for the Cloud:
Latency matters when it comes to the Cloud. Today’s network architecture is based on the assumption that your applications, data, and servers are sitting inside the four walls of your data center. What happens when your resources federated between your data center and the Cloud? Application performance and user experience can suffer without proper planning. Cloud Hub is a hybrid architecture that focuses on designing your WAN to avoid the traditional constraints of latency, throughput, and cost.
Kha Phan is a Cloud and Data Center connectivity expert specializing in the ePlus/IDS Cloud Hub Architecture and implementation of hybrid Cloud environments. Kha Phan is a pioneer of the architecture and has deployed the Cloud Hub Architecture for fortune 500 companies and has been interviewed by Gartner and other research companies. The Cloud Hub Architecture speeds up IT service delivery and provide Enterprises the ability to consume cloud services with a Hybrid architecture that addresses proximity, throughput and cost. In past deployments he has been able to improve WAN performance while achieving a 50% cost reduction and a 10X increase in bandwidth.
Fast Forward will also feature sessions on Cybersecurity and Journey to the Cloud Customer Panel
8 Takeaways from Fast Forward 2016
Just one word is needed to sum up the theme of the inaugural IDS Fast Forward event: DISRUPTION! Discover insights from the event on disruption and why proactive leaders will win.
"IDS Fast Forward was a great event for myself and my team. We saw a lot of great, engaging speakers on a variety of very relevant IT topics. We were able to speak with multiple vendors about their products and services and came away from the event with several new ideas to help us deliver world class services to our customers.”Brian PalmerDirector of Infrastructure, American Hotel Register Company
"I really enjoyed attending IDS Fast Forward this year. The speakers were very insightful and provided great perspectives that I found to be very educational. From Michael Davis’ talk on Hacker Tactics to Mr. Moneyball himself talking about Big Data, it was definitely time well spent.”Jim VanekArea Manager, Data Protection Solutions, EMC
“IDS Fast Forward delivered leading edge cloud, mobile, and big data insight. The speakers reminded us that, above all else, security and prevention go hand in hand. A former U.S. Navy Seal and current expert in privacy and security confirmed that an organization’s weakest security links are its people, their mobile devices, and social media.”Jon BeyerExecutive for IT, ELCA
"I very much enjoyed the IDS Fast Forward event. All the speakers were absolutely relevant on cloud, security and big data trends. Michael Davis was correct…privacy is a commodity—something everyone should be watching closely.”Michael FordDirector of Cloud Operations, University of Chicago
